Theme: Educational robotics for 21st century skills and promoting interest towards STEM
Christina is a robo-enthusiast, tinkerer and educational robotics coordinator at the European Software Institute – Center Eastern Europe. Being an educational robotics tutor also, she often works with younger students, pedagogues, researchers and STEM teachers. During the past 2 years, she has worked with more than 700 children, using robotics as a tool to teach digital fluency, mathematics, creativity, communication, collaboration, mathematics and basic programming skills. She is a core designer and initiator of one educational robotics workshop curriculum, developed in alignment with the national school curriculum for mathematics for the fourth grade which. Since November 2016, 6 workshops on this methodology were organized and successfully completed with more than 160 public school students.
