♦  Endava Learning Center – Excellent carrier development opportunity for IT Professionals
The last 10 years there was a significant increase of IT companies and their employees’ number in the Republic of Moldova. One of the actual problems is the lack of specialists with experience and certifications in the domain of modern technologies, which affects our country's image outside. To help overcome that problem, Endava has elaborated a learning strategy including opening of a training center on modern IT technologies. The main objective of this program is to strengthen the knowledge of local IT specialists in modern technologies as well as young specialists by providing standard and customized courses.

♦  Reducing costs trough outsourcing
Current business environment puts a lot of pressure on businesses around the world to make their operational and business costs efficient, preferable to make them at the same time efficient and smaller. That is not a simple task to resolve. IT budgets unfortunately are the ones which are the first to get the under the knife – costs could be reduced fast and with nearly immediate effect. But this does not mean the organisation will become more efficient, actually the result of that underinvestment in technology can stall all efficiency development of the organisation for longer periods than the cost cut period. Getting back is not easy and many times cost are significantly bigger. A balance decision is required, and this balance is brought on most of the cases by IT services outsourcing, a powerful alternative which can reduce costs at the same time keeping the IT systems development pace intact (in most of the cases speeding up the pace). But how to achieve this without joining the lines of the companies which have on their history the scars of many fallen IT outsourcing projects (usually with a big price tag attached to them). In my presentation I will try to give some very brief recommendations on how to avoid pitfalls and score great results by outsourcing IT services.

The success of an IT project to assure the expected deliverables, according to the expected deadlines and the planned resources is a true challenge nowadays. According to the statistics, 31% of the IT projects are closed down before being finished, 52.7% of the IT projects exceed the planned budget, and only 1 out of 8 projects can be considered succesful.
