IT4Transparency

How can civil society enable government transparency and accountability through IT

The session will provide a forum for civil society and technical sector representatives to analyze solutions and initiatives on promoting government transparency and accountability though ICT in activities related to watchdog and awareness rising led by the civil society.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND:
representatives of civil society, ICT sector, public authorities, international development partners.

WHO WILL BE THERE:
IT experts and professionals, representatives of NGOs, think tanks, members of the Moldovan Association of Private ICT Companies, public authorities, international development partners.

WHY SHOULD I ATTEND:
share and learn good practices in using ICT applications for watchdog and awareness rising activities; discuss barriers for collaboration between the representatives of ICT sector and civil society and identify solutions for efficient collaboration in promoting government transparency and accountability; unify the efforts under e-transformation agenda by involving civil society actors.
